About Lady D
Elder Nicole Bland Peeples, youngest daughter of Bishop and 1st Lady John Bland, has over 30 plus years of ministry experience. As a PK, (preacher’s kid), she had very little choice in the anointed mantle placed on her life at an early age. During her infancy, Nicole was extremely premature and suffered many health problems. Early on, the doctors had given up hope but her dad knew the Great Physician and decided to dedicate her back to God. He had a reassurance that God would perform the miracle. And that He did. And today, it is evident that the miracle performed back in 1973, was for such a time as this….the ministry of Elder Nicole Bland Peeples.
She currently serves as the Executive Pastor of The City of Victory Sounds of Praise Pentecostal Fellowship Ministries, Inc, where she is affectionately called AP (Assistant Pastor). Although she serves in various capacities there, she is the current leader of The Women of Excellence Department, which comprises of SMORES, Single Mom’s Obtaining, Reestablishing, and Embracing Satisfaction! She also serves as the Assistant Directress of the National Sounds of Praise Christian Youth Connection. She also serves on the Educational Leadership Committee for the Sounds of Praise. She is author of the book entitled, Who Are You Sleeping With? (Revolutionary Disciples Ministry Publishing) and the founder of Designer Labeled Ministry, a ministry geared to the encouragement of women’s self-worth and esteem all while assisting them in recognizing their healing, purpose, and power both spiritually and emotionally. She is currently writing her second book and first novel under the pseudonym, Lady D (derived from her grandmother’s name Deloris, who loved ones affectionately called “D”).
On a personal level, she is the mother of two blessings, Erik and Amariah. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts degree from The University of South Carolina in Speech Communications and her Master of Arts degree from Argosy University in Educational Leadership. She currently teaches 8th grade English Language Arts and was awarded Teacher of the Year for 2010-2011 school year. Although no longer practicing, she is also a licensed cosmetologist for the past 17 years.
Among all of her accomplishments and endeavors, she is most grateful for her ability to operate in Kingdom advancement. Nicole’s passion and pursuit is to influence the Kingdom of God through the impactful teaching of His Word. (I Timothy 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry).
